Serbian Orthodoxy Room
Since the arrival of the first Serbian immigrants from Europe, the Serbian Orthodox Church in America has been the gathering place of Serbian community in the US. There are Serbian Orthodox churches throughout the US, especially in the Mid-West area. This Room represents the history of the church and exhibits a variety of items that the earliest immigrant faithful have brought with them. Photos of numerous frescos from the Monastery of Hilandar before the infamous fire of 2003 are on display.
